Every now and then I will get a feeling at the beginning of a shoot that tells me "this shoot is going to be a good one." Well, I got that feeling at the start of Aaron and Joanne's photoshoot. Their outfits, the location, the light. Everything was just perfect!
Lately, my goal going into my shoots has been to capture more candid photos. I would compare trying to take candids to trying to get a piece of paper away from my dog, which means it is not easy... At this point in my photography career, I have come to realize that in order to get these much coveted candid photos, I have to act like a clown and say stupid things, and almost, without fail, it makes my clients laugh.
Some days I will be driving home from a photoshoot and regret a few things I have said because they were just SO stupid, then I go and look at the photos and see what kind of laughs the stupid joke drew from my client and it makes being the "class clown" worth it!
Sorry, not sorry, for how many photos I'm sharing...there were just too many good ones!!
