Leah is my best friend, Miriam's, sister. Miriam and the rest of her family moved to the States a year ago, so photographing part of her family makes it even more special.
I had previously sent Leah my Style Guide, knowing she wouldn't really need it (she has such great style already). So, as I assumed, when they stepped out of the car they were impeccably dressed! Leah quickly slipped a headband onto her sleeping daughter's head and we started the walk to the location. In minutes they were comfortable in front of the camera and the entire shoot flew by.
During photoshoots I have a lot to think about: light, location, posing, camera settings, keeping my clients comfortable, etc., so having a family that was beautiful, genuine, and giving of their time was such a gift. Thank you Matt and Leah!
They were the easiest family to get candids from:)
Leah asked if she could have more photos of herself and Matt, which I was thrilled to do- couples are my favourite to shoot!
