It's not every day that I get a request to take someone's portraits. (Other than all the times I have dragged my siblings outside, posed them, and pretty much shoved a camera up their noses.) So, when the opportunity arises I am, of course, extremely excited!
Amanda and I met at a wedding I photographed last year, and her warm personality immediately drew me in. When she reached out to me asking to book a photoshoot to have portraits taken for her birthday, I, of course, agreed!
We met up at the St. Albert Botanic Park earlier this week, and I could not have dreamt of a better photoshoot! It had been threatening rain all day, but as the sun began to set it peeked out of the clouds casting warm glowy light all over the gardens!
