They met as friends while attending university, but kept their distance. A while later, Ale had just gotten out of a relationship, and Suraj, drawn in by her beautiful eyes and infectious smile, asked her out, but she turned him down. Over the next six months, he persisted; intermittently asking if he could take her on a date until finally, she agreed. They hit it off and have been in love ever since!
Fast forward a few years, and they went to Banff on what Ale thought was just a fun trip for her birthday. They took a gondola up Silver Mountain, and while overlooking the beautiful mountain scenery he asked her to spend the rest of her life with him. She, of course, said YES!! They will tie the knot in a gorgeous church in Edmonton this summer, and I can't wait!
Ale actually almost found the ring while looking for something in Suraj's luggage, thankfully she didn't and Suraj was spared having to propose there and then!
