Edmonton Legislature: Styled Shoot Part I

As anyone in the creative industry will tell you, inspiration comes and goes. Some days being creative feels like you're trying to make your way through a thick fog, unable to see a direct route to go.

This is how I felt a few months ago, and to pull myself out of this funk, I decided to plan a photoshoot that revolved solely around creating for the sake of it. So, I went online and reached out to a few wedding vendors whose work I thought could bring my ideas for this photoshoot to life. A couple of vision boards and many emails later and the whole shoot was planned. Everything seemed to just fall into place perfectly, so on the day of the shoot I half expected something to go wrong to just keep me humble, but the disaster never happened and the shoot exceeded my expectations in every way.

I am forever grateful to the whole creative team who did an AMAZING job with dresses, tuxes, florals, stationary, hair and makeup. Thank you all for giving freely of your time and resources to make this shoot truly a dream come true.

Hair + Makeup: Beauty By Propearl

Tuxedoes: Formals By Page

Models: Brittany + Cole

We did two separate looks for the shoot, so here is the first look. Stay tuned for the second:)

Enjoy the photos!

Cole and Brittany are a real-life couple who were willing to spend the day and model for me. From the moment they stepped in front of my camera, I knew I couldn't have chosen two better people to photograph. They are not only incredibly photogenic, but they are also two amazing people inside and out. Thank you both so much!!

Happy Tuesday!
